2015 season finished on a high note!

The last week-end of the Enduro World Series took place in Finale Ligure, Italy. Now the place is well known for the best end of the season party…but before we have to race!

2 days of racing, 110 km in total, 5 stages and more than 2500 meters elevation waited for us, it's gonna be intense!

As the weather forecast was rainy and windy the organization has to cancel one stage on Saturday for safety reasons. On Saturday Jérôme won the 1st physical stage, and did really well on the stage 3 and 4. He was happy to be part of the top front battle and finished 2nd of the day!

On Sunday we have to climb more than 2 hours to reach the summit and start the longest stage of the week-end. Jérôme rode as fast as he could and ends up 3rd on that stage and even took the lead!

But on the last stage of the day, Fabien and Jared were faster and Jey lost some precious seconds.

Finally Jérôme finished on the 4th position of the week-end 2 seconds from the win!! A little bit frustrated not to be on the podium but he is happy to be part of the game and like to be on his race mode again with good feeling on the bike!

Overall ranking

On top of that, Jérôme ends up in 3rd position on the overall ranking of the Enduro World Series! What a great satisfaction if you look at the season view!

The Cannondale Overmountain Team ranked in the 3rd position of the team overall ranking 2015!

Full Heavy metal!

Apart of the race, Jérôme is a big fan of Metallica. For the last round, Troy Lee Design painted him a customed helmet with the logo of the band, Cannondale did a specific color frame with the lyrics of the song “from whom the bells tolls”, one of hJérôm's favorite one! Alpinestars also add its touch by designing a matched jersey and all the partners play the game to make a special and dedicated bike from Jérôme which perfectly matched!

Pauline did all the series as well and managed to be 8th overall! “I will support more Jérôme next year during the World Series so I will not do all the races. I enjoyed every single race in 2016 and I am proud and lucky to have been part of the series this year, it was good fun and lots of good memories!”
